On March 4, 2025, the school bid a fond farewell to the boys of Grade 5, Batch 2024-2025, celebrating their journey and wishing them success in the years ahead.

The condolence meet for Mrs. Bilquis Chida, former President of MWA Matriculation Higher Secondary School, on 6th February 2025 was a heartfelt tribute attended by many who had worked under her leadership. Committee members, well-wishers, staff, and loved ones shared cherished memories of her dedication and contributions. The gathering was a testament to her inspiring leadership, kindness, and lasting legacy.

The 62nd Annual Day of MWA Matriculation & Higher Secondary School was celebrated at The Kamarajar Arangam.

The morning session, welcomed guests Mrs. A. Yasmin Begum and Mrs. Zameera Ofhran to enjoy the Welcome Dance, Action Song, and skit.

During the afternoon session, Sr. Prabha and Dr. Ayesha Hamed, got to see the older students showcase skits, Hand Choreography, and the "99 Names of Allah" recital.

The event concluded with a prize distribution, celebrating academic and extracurricular achievements of our students.

The Chennai Super Queens Carnival, Season 2, held on July 19, 2024, was a fun-filled event to raise funds for students' education.

The event featured Chief Guest Mrs Valli Ramaswamy, Chairperson of Loyal Textiles, and showcased a vibrant mix of attractions, including stalls by female entrepreneurs and fun games, including a 3D VR show, bouncing castle, and Ferris wheel!

The event was a huge success and all visitors left with huge smiles!

On 19th September 2024, the Lions Club of Madras, Mylapore, organized a Teachers Day celebration to honor our teachers for their contribution to society.

The event recognized 34 teachers with the Best Teacher Award, paying tribute to their dedication and commitment.

On 19th September 2024, the Skating Rink was inaugurated at the Girls Home of AHI.

Mohammed Shafin a student of class 2 from M.W.A, the winner of the State Skating Championship was invited to perform a 5-minute routine as part of the event.
