On 18th August 2025, the MWA School Nursery students staged a delightful play on Community Helpers. Dressed as doctors, pilots, farmers, and more, they celebrated everyday heroes in their own creative way.

On 15th August 2025, MWA School celebrated India's 78th Independence Day. Students and Staff attended a flag hoisting ceremony and took part in reciting the national pledge.

On 12th August 2025, during the PTA Meeting, the Principal looked back on the achievements and milestones reached during the previous year, and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to safety, growth, and excellence.

On 12th August 2025, students from Classes VII–XII took part in the TATA Building Essay Competition, reimagining India as a Self-Reliant Country with youthful vision and powerful words.

On 9th August 2025, our Higher Secondary students delivered a thought-provoking Anti-Drug Awareness Skit, to educate their peers on the ill effects of drug use, and inspire them to help create a healthier tomorrow.

On 13th August 2025, the Principal continued the Vision & Victory Series with Grades X and XII, highlighting how discipline, smart planning, and steady effort shape success not only for their upcoming board exams, but for life. It was an interesting session that boosted morale of students to work harder.

On August 10, 2025, the Principal addressed parents at an orientation on Child Abuse Awareness & POCSO, emphasizing the need to recognize early signs, equip children with safety rules, and strengthen the parent-school bond for a secure future.

On 10th August 2025, M.W.A held the Intra-School Hifz Finals, where students recited what they had memorized from the Holy Qur'an in front of an audience that included members of the school's management.

MWA celebrated the English Intra-Week from4th to 8th August, during which our students experienced a week full of literary exposure. From rhymes, and debates, to handwriting and grammar battles, our students participated in every event with enthusiasm!

At the Zonal Athletics Meet, MWA School students displayed exceptional talent! Sunakshi (XI B) and J. Kaashifa (XII A) earned second place in Javelin Throw, while Nithya Shree secured second place in the Under-19 Long Jump.

In the Under-14 category, Atchaya Priya S won second place and Thaaseen Fathima bagged third place in Long Jump.

On 5th August 2025, Zohara S (Std XI), Haneen (Std XII), Salma Afroze I (Std IX), and Thapsira (Std IX) won top honours in singles and doubles at the Zonal Level Carrom Tournament in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories. Great job girls!

For the month of July 2025, Mrs. Shoba received the Best Supporting Staff Award for her commitment, warmth, and invaluable contributions to MWA School.

Little explorers from MWA School stepped into the world of science at the Children’s Museum, Egmore on July 31st. A day full of learning, laughter, and discovery to enrich these young minds.

Grades 5C and 9C earned the Best Class Award for July 2025 presented to them by the principal, as a recognition for their discipline, hardwork, and their drive to learn which they had shown during the month.

On 19th July 2025, the MWA School librarian attended a Scholastic workshop led by Mrs Tahsin Chacko, which explored the science of reading and the power of books in encouraging imagination and curiosity in children.

MWA school continued its 60th Annual Sports Day celebrations on July 26th 2025 with a day filled with lively races, colorful performances and confident strides that echoed the message of teamwork, celebration and youthful determination. Ms. Parveen from GST department, Anna Nagar graced the event with her presence and guest of honor.

On July 19, 2025, the MWA campus pulsed with energy as students celebrated the 60th Annual Sports Day, marked by spirited marches, enthusiastic cheers, and fierce competition. The event was graced by Ms. Marieen Vijay, Founder of IRONLADY Self Defence, who inspired all with a message of strength and discipline. It was a day that honored determination, elegance, and triumph on the field.

On June 28, 2025, MWA School ignited the flame of leadership at its Investiture Ceremony, where student leaders from Classes III to XII took a solemn oath to lead with integrity, courage, and purpose. The occasion was honored by the presence of Dr. S. Shameem, Deputy Director of SCERT and Principal of DIET, Chennai, as the school celebrated a new chapter marked by vision, responsibility, and commitment to excellence.

On 30th June 2025, MWA School honoured the Indian Talent Olympiad winners for their outstanding performance across various subjects, with certificates and medals presented by the Principal.

From 2nd to 4th July 2025, MWA School hosted the Seerath Competitions—three inspiring days of Qirath, Quiz, and elocution competitions, where students from grades 6 to 12 enthusiastically participated and worked hard to increase their Islamic knowledge.

On 9th July 2025, MWA School organised a special Cancer Awareness Talk for mothers, where Dr. Saritha, a respected oncologist, shared valuable insights on women’s health, early detection, and the power of prevention through awareness and timely care.

On 30th June 2025, a mock fire drill was conducted for students of Classes VI to XII, to raise awareness among our students on the correct response during emergencies.

On 11th June 2025, the Principal led Part 1 of the Vision & Victory Series — a workshop designed to ignite purpose, instill a proactive mindset, and encourage students towards academic and personal excellence.

Students from our Anti-Drug Club merged creativity and advocacy with these hand-drawn posters, to raise awareness among the youth to choose life and say no to drugs.

June 9th was a special day here at M.W.A school as we welcomed our little ones from nursery on their first day of school!

Their small bags, bright eyes and big smiles filled the school with joy and marked the start of their exciting journey filled with stories songs, laughter and much more!

At M.W.A school, we believe that collaboration between parents and teachers is key to ensuring a child's well rounded education.

At our Parent's orientation for Grades X and XII on 14th June 2025, our principal explained the exam formats, study plans and schedules set by the school for the upcoming board exams. This meeting aims to facilitate good communication and transparency with parents about their child's studies.

It's back to school season, and M.W.A is gearing up for another amazing year! The Enrichment Program kicked off on June 2nd, and our students returned to school with huge smiles, excited for another year of activity based learning!
