The Value Education Meet, conducted in two batches for students of Std. VIII to XII, featured an engaging and interactive session by Mrs. Umme Ahmad on the theme, "Leading With Purpose – Building Character, Conviction & Confidence." The session emphasised the importance of sincere intention, purposeful action, and steadfastness in the face of challenges, encouraging students to remain focused on their goals and translate their values into meaningful action.

The Eid Milan celebration held on 13th June 2026 was a heartwarming occasion that brought the MWA family together in the true spirit of unity and gratitude. Graced by the presence of the Management and Executive Committee Members, the gathering featured an inspiring address by Mrs. Asfiya Iqbal, whose reflections on self worth, self care and the dignity of women left a lasting impression on the audience. The interactive session, followed by fellowship over lunch, made the event a meaningful celebration of shared values and togetherness.

The School was honoured to welcome Dr. Ali Kausar Zaidi, a distinguished alumnus and retired General Surgeon. Reflecting on his school days, he shared how the encouragement and guidance of his teachers and Principal played a significant role in shaping his journey to success. His interaction with the students was both inspiring and insightful. Dr. Zaidi also met with the School Management, engaging in a cordial and meaningful exchange that reaffirmed his enduring bond with the institution.

On 10th June, our students of Classes XI Science and XI Arts attended the "Know Your Rights – Empowering Muslim Women" workshop at JBAS College. Through meaningful interactions with eminent speakers, they gained valuable insights into the rights guaranteed under Muslim Law and the Constitution of India, fostering awareness, critical thinking, and the confidence to become informed and responsible citizens.

The first assembly of the Academic year(2026 - 27) welcomed our students of Classes VI–XII to a new season of learning, where every morning begins with purpose, values, and the pursuit of excellence.

The reopening for our youngest learners for the Academic Year 2026–27 marked a special occasion at MWA School, as eager minds and cheerful smiles embraced the beginning of an enriching educational journey.

The Parent Orientation Programme, conducted by the Principal on 6th June 2026, was centred on the theme, "Walking Together: A Shared Journey Towards Success." The session reflected thep collective commitment of the School, Parents, and Students towards purpose, perseverance, and success during the Board Examination year.

The new academic year (2026-27) at MWA School began on a joyful note as students were warmly welcomed into a vibrant learning environment, setting the stage for a year of growth , character building and excellence.

On 10th April 2026, students of Standards 1 & 2, with 100% attendance, were awarded Perfect Attendance Certificates and medals during the assembly. Their punctuality and regularity were appreciated and served as an inspiration to all students.

On 7th March 2026, students from Classes VIII, IX, and XI participated in the Online SDG Quiz Competition held during MEDAI UNSDG Week 2026 at MESAI Academy of Architecture.

Muwaffika M and Waniya T Ahmed (XI Science) secured 2nd place, while Athiyatul Wakeel (XI Science) and Sabeeha Ahmed N (VIII) won 3rd place. On 13th April, they were awarded certificates and medals by the Principal during the assembly for their remarkable performance.

On 13th April 2026, students of Classes III to VIII who maintained 100% attendance for the academic year 2025–26 were honoured with Perfect Attendance Certificates and medals by the Principal during the School assembly, celebrating their dedication and discipline.

On 13th March 2026, a short quiz on basic knowledge of Ramadan was conducted for Std 1 to 5 during the assembly, and the winners were awarded prizes.

An Iftar Program was held on 11th March 2026 at Qaide Millath College, Medavakkam, for the students. The event brought students together to observe the spirit of Ramadan and share the joy of breaking the fast.

The program was graced by Mrs. Nikkath Fathima Suhail, President of M.W.A. Matriculation Higher Secondary School, who delivered a special address and inspired the students with her valuable words.

A Prayer Meeting for the students of Std X and XII was held on 18th February 2026 to seek blessings and motivate them for their upcoming board examinations.
President Madam, Mrs. Nikkath Fathima Suhail addressed the students and encouraged them to stay dedicated, positive, and confident.The meeting concluded with prayers for the students’ success and well-being in their examinations.

On 9th March 2026, an Islamic quiz titled “Points to be Remembered During Ramadan” was conducted during the assembly for students of Grades 6 to 8.
The quiz emphasized the importance and spiritual significance of the holy month of Ramadan. The students participated enthusiastically and answered the questions exceptionally well. Prizes were awarded to recognize their knowledge and active participation.

On 18 February 2026, XII students who achieved 100% attendance for 2025-26 were honoured with the Perfect Attendance Certificates and medals by the Principal at the school assembly, appreciating their dedication, discipline, and commitment to their learning.

On 02 March 2026, Class 10 students who maintained 100 % attendance for 2025-26, were honoured with the Perfect Attendance Certificates and medals by the Principal at the school assembly celebrating their exemplary dedication, discipline, and commitment towards learning.

On 3rd March 2026, Std IV A was presented with the Best Class Award by the Principal during the assembly for February 2026, in recognition of their excellent discipline, teamwork, and overall classroom performance.

On 6th March 2026, an Islamic quiz on the topic “99 Names of Allah” was conducted during the assembly for students of Grades 1 to 4.
The Quiz topic highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan. The students answered exceptionally well and were awarded prizes for their knowledge and participation.

On 7th March 2026, our students from Std 8, 9, and 11 participated in the Online SDG Quiz Competition conducted by MEDAI UNSDG Week 2026 at MESAI Academy of Architecture.

Their remarkable performance showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and enthusiasm for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Boys' Farewell for Std V was held on 10th February 2026, in the presence of the Management. The outgoing boys of Std V were presented with mementoes, T-shirts, and chocolates. The occasion was filled with joyful memories, making the day truly special and enjoyable for everyone. The Management and the Principal extended their blessings and shared inspiring words, wishing the students great success in their future endeavours.

On 11th February, the Principal conducted “Vision and Victory Series - Part 3” for the students of Std XII, focusing on effective strategies to prepare for the board examinations.
The session aimed at guiding students to approach their exams with clarity, confidence, and a well-structured plan. The Principal emphasized the importance of setting a clear vision, staying disciplined, and maintaining a positive mindset throughout the preparation period.
The Principal also motivated students to believe in their abilities and reminded them that consistent effort and smart study techniques lead to success.
